KL Rahul & Athiya Shetty Pregnancy News: Indian Cricketer KL Rahul and his wife Athya Shetty, who is a Bollywood actress, are expecting their first child in 2025. The couple made an announcement through a social media post on Instagram on November 8 (Friday) saying a ‘beautiful’ blessing is coming soon. The couple got married on January 23, 2023, at Suniel Shetty’s Khandala residence, Jahaan. Their wedding was an intimate event, with only close family and friends in attendance.

The couple posted a joint announcement post on Instagram with the message, “Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025.”

Athiya, the daughter of actor Suniel Shetty, posted the message along with a white heart emoji. Congratulatory messages started to flow in from all parts of the world as soon as the announcement was shared by the couple.

KL Rahul Fails To Make Impact In IND-A vs AUS-A Test

Coming to cricket, KL Rahul is currently in Australia, playing for India A against Australia A. His performance in the match has not been ideal as he registered the scored of 4 and 10 in the two innings of the unofficial Test. 

After this series, Rahul will stay in Australia to join the senior India squad in a few days for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. He is likely to be seen opening the batting for India in the first Test against Australia, starting November 22 in Perth.

Rahul's inclusion in the team is due to the uncertainty around captain Rohit Sharma's participation in the match. Rohit will reportedly miss the first Test for personal reasons, believed to be related to the birth of his second child.
