IPL 2020, KKR vs MI: Rohit Sharma Hits 200th Six!! Joins Gayle, ABD, Dhoni In Elite List

Rohit Sharma became only the fourth cricketer in IPL history to hit 200 or more sixes and he is only the second Indian cricketer after CSK skipper MS Dhoni to hit 200 sixes in Indian Premier League.

Abu Dhabi: Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma scaled yet another lofty milestone in his glittering career as he struck his 200th six in his Indian Premier League career during MI's encounter against KKR in IPL 2020 on Wednesday.  Rohit became only the fourth cricketer in IPL history to hit 200 or more sixes and he is only the second Indian cricketer after CSK skipper MS Dhoni to hit 200 sixes in Indian Premier League. The 'Hitman' achieved the milestone during the 14th over of MI innings against Kolkata Knight Riders when he came down the track to hit Kuldeep for long-on for a towering six. Rohit top-scored with a whirlwind 80-run knock off just 54 deliveries to help Mumbai Indians post a challenging 195-run total against Kolkata Knight Riders. Windies swashbuckling opener Chris Gayle holds the record for the most sixes in IPL history with 326 maximums to his name. RCB's AB de Villiers is next on the list with 214 sixes followed by Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni who has struck 212 sixes in IPL.
