US Presidential Election 2024: Donald Trump’s Address After Victory

Former US President Donald Trump is set to return to the White House after winning a second term, almost four years after his controversial departure from Washington. Although the official results will be announced on January 6, 2025, Trump has already secured the necessary 270 electoral votes. With this win, he becomes the first president since Grover Cleveland in 1892 to win non-consecutive terms. Trump’s victory came after a tough, nearly 100-day campaign against Kamala Harris. Polls in key states were very close, but Trump ultimately reclaimed Georgia, held onto North Carolina, and managed to break through the Democratic strongholds known as the “blue wall.”
