IND vs BAN Kanpur Test Day 3 Weather Report: India are up against Bangladesh at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur for the second Test of the IND vs BAN series but the two days of the match have so far been marred by poor weather conditions and continuous rains. Rohit Sharma & co. would be hoping for better weather conditions on Day 3 of the IND vs BAN Kanpur Test September 29 (Sunday) so that they could move closer to their aim of securing 2-0 series win.

As the proceedings move to Day 3 of the IND vs BAN Kanpur Test on Sunday, unfortunately, the weather conditions for the Green Park Stadium do not look too good for the third day as well. However, weather allowing, there could be some play possible unlike Day 2, where there was no play possible.

According to AccuWeather, there are around 47% chances of rain at 9 AM IST, when the play is supposed to start on Day 3 of IND vs BAN Kanpur Test. There is expected to be 99% of cloud cover and at 10 AM IST, the weather conditions in Kanpur are expected to get worse as there is around 52% chance of rain.

However, at 12 PM, the weather conditions are expected to improve as the chances of rain drop down to 36% and the cloud cover is expected to be at 98%.

At around 2 PM, the weather conditions are set to improve even further as there are only 20% chances of rain with cloud cover expected to drop to 71% and some sunshine anticipated. The weather conditions are forecasted to remain similar for the rest of the playing hours.

Will There Be Play On Day 3 Of IND vs BAN Kanpur Test?

Since there are about 52% chances of rain in the weather forecast for the morning, the IND vs BAN Kanpur Test may once again face a delayed start but as the weather conditions are expected to improve later in the day, fans can definitely expect some play, provided the conditions do not get worse.

What Has Happened So Far In IND vs BAN Kanpur Test?

Led by Rohit Sharma, India defeated Bangladesh in the first IND vs BAN Test at Chennai by 180 runs and came to Kanpur in hopes of winning the series 2-0 and strengthening their number 1 position in the World Test Championship (WTC) points table but their plans have been hindered by rain delays.

On Day 1 of the Kanpur Test, Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first. However, due to rains, only 35 overs of play was possible and Bangladesh finished the day on 107-3.

Day 2 of the Kanpur Test brough even worse news as the continuous rains in Kanpur did not allow any play to be possible and the play got called off without a ball being bowled on September 28.
