Jasprit Bumrah-Sanjana Ganesan Marriage: Is The Fast-Bowler Getting Married Today In Goa?

Amid speculations and a lot of hush-hush, some reports suggest Jasprit Bumrah will marry Sanjana Ganesan in a private ceremony.

Jasprit Bumrah-Sanjana Ganesan Marriage: Indian fast-bowler and Mumbai Indians star, Jasprit Bumrah is all set to get hitched to model-turned-TV presenter Sanjana Ganesan in an intimate ceremony in Goa on 15 March, 2021. The ceremony will take place in the presence of close relatives and no mobile phones would be allowed in the ceremony.

According to some media reports, the pre-wedding rituals were finalized on Sunday in Goa and the number of guests is restricted to 20. However, there was no confirmation about the marriage or the ceremony from either of Sanjana or Bumrah.

Due to “personal reasons” the bowler had asked for a leave from the rest of the ongoing England tour. However, it was not confirmed as there was no comment from the cricketer on the matter. But a BCCI source told ANI, "He informed the BCCI that he is getting married and has taken the leave to help in preparations for the big day.” Bumrah will also miss the entire T20I and ODI series against England which began on March 12, 2021.

It is also being said that due to the corona virus travel restrictions, none of the people from the cricketing world would be present at the wedding of the fast-bowler. Cricketers and other BCCI officials will attend a reception ceremony on a different date, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

Sanjana Ganesan is a model-turned Television sports presenter. She was previously spotted on Star Sports’ shows like ‘Match-Point’ and also was a part of the Badminton Premier League (BPL).
