IPL 10: Umesh Yadav regaining fitness, will play KKR's first home match
Kolkata: Amidst all the injury concerns over regular Indian players, there is silver lining in the form of Umesh Yadav. The fast bowler is likely to regain his fitness and in all probability will take part in Kolkata Knight Riders' first home game against Kings XI Punjab at the Eden Gardens.
The Kolkata Knight Riders’ CEO Venky Mysore confirmed the developments.
Mysore on Saturday tweeted that that he is hopeful of seeing a fresher and fitter Umesh Yadav on April 10.

Pressed further on if he would be available for selection for the April 13 game, Mysore told IANS: "Yes. He will be available for selection."
The BCCI, in a statement, said that Umesh has a right hip injury and lower back soreness but should recover by second week of April.
There were reports that Umesh might join the long list of injured players which includes Virat Kohli, R AShwin, Murali Vijay, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja – all of whom are confirmed to miss parts or entire duration of IPL.
KKR now can breathe easy as they are almost certain of getting the services of Umesh for the major part of the tournament.
KKR play Glenn Maxwell captained Kings XI Punjab on April 13 here before taking on Gujarat Lions (April 7) and Mumbai Indians (April 9) away.
Umesh took 17 wickets in the four-Test series against Australia while India won 2-1.
