'Internet Explorer Of Cricket Pitches:' Ex-India Star Gives Hilarious Analogy To Describe Playing Surface Being Used For IND vs WI 2nd Test
IND vs WI: Not many are impressed with the pitch on offer in the second Test match being played between the two countries at the Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain in Trinidad.
While India are currently taking on West Indies in the second Test match of the two-match Test series at the Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain in Trinidad, not many are impressed with the pitch on offer in this fixture. Joining the voices who have expressed their displeasure on the 22-yards being used for this match is former India opener turned coach and pundit Wasim Jaffer. The ex-India cricketer is known for his hilarious memes on social media and he did no harm to his reputation with his latest dig on the pitch.
Describing the surface after Day 3 of the IND vs WI 2nd Test match, Jaffer compared the pitch to web browser Internet Explorer. "This pitch is the Internet Explorer of cricket pitches 🤦🏽 #Slow #WIvIND," he wrote.

Not only has the pitch been on the slower and the sluggish side but the fact that the hosts are also playing for a draw has added to the dull nature of the Test match. Indian entrepreneur Anupam Mittal who is one of the judged of Shark Tank India also tweeted to pay attention to the Ashes Series rather than watch the India vs West Indies second Test. "Stop wasting time on Ind/WI & watch the Ashes … England has redefined the game it invented over 400 yrs back," he tweeted.

Talking about the match, India batted first and posted 438 runs in the first innings in response to which West Indies scored 229/5 till the end of Day 3. The visitors are 1-0 up in the series and even if the match ends in draw they will lift the trophy but Rohit Sharma & Co. would look for a win, given they will get more points in the World Test Championship (WTC).
