India Vs South Africa T20 World Cup 2024 Final: India and South Africa clash for the ultimate prize of T20 World Cup 2024 today, as the 'Men in Blue' are up against the 'Proteas' in the all-elusive 'UNBEATEN VS UNBEATEN' Final of the mega event. India have been up and running at this year’s T20 World Cup, as the mega event has seen the side perform on all fronts, especially the bowling department.

Indian bowlers have combined for 56 wickets, out of which 38 have been taken by the trio of Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, and Kuldeep Yadav. The three above-mentioned bowlers are the only Indian bowlers to have registered double figures in terms of wickets at this year’s T20 World Cup, and the Indian hopes will be relying on their bowlers, as this tournament has been the tournament of the bowlers so far.

Rohit Sharma has led the team from the front as the Indian captain is the side’s leading run scorer with 248 runs, followed by Suryakumar Yadav with 196 runs, and then Rishabh Pant with 171 runs (all of their runs have come in 7 innings).

Key Player Battles To Watch Out For In Today's Final

1. Jasprit Bumrah Vs Reeza Hendricks

Jasprit Bumrah though has scalped fewer wickets than Arshdeep Singh, but there's no denying that the right-arm pacer has been India's prime bowler and arguably the best bowler not just past two ICC events, but since the time he stepped foot into the international circuit. Reeza Hendricks is not having a good T20 World Cup 2024 with the bat, and with Jasprit Bumrah delivering the early breakthroughs oftenly this tournament, the Proteas batter will be in for a tough opening spell up top.

2. Kuldeep Yadav Vs Heinrich Klassen

Heinrich Klassen has been South Africa's best white-ball batsman from past two years, and he will be up against India's best wrist-spinner from past few years, as the dynamic battle between the duo is evenly-poised due to each other's greatness in the shortest format of the game.

3. Anrich Nortje Vs Suryakumar Yadav

South Africa's number 1 bowler at this year's tournament will be up against T20I's number 1 batsman, and arguably, the most dynamic Indian T20I batsman ever, as Suryakumar Yadav will finally meet its hardest challenge — facing a great pace attack on a difficult surface, in the all-elusive final.

4. Marco Jansen Vs Rohit Sharma

Marco Jansen has been inconsistent throughout his career but has been in good form at this year's tournament. He will be tasked to bowl against one of the greatest batsmen the game has ever seen, and India's best batsman at this year's tournament — Rohit Sharma, who has shrugged aside his ghosts of past against the left-arm seamers and has been in splendid form in 2024.

5. Tabriz Shamsi Vs Hardik Pandya

Tabriz Shamsi is South Africa's best spinner from the past few years and has been number 1 in T20I's for a while. He will be up against India's best middle-order batsman at this year's T20 World Cup — Hardik Pandya, who carries a reputation of being highly dangerous against the spin counterparts of the opposition sides.
