Ind vs Pak rain update: It is highly likely that rain might play spoilsport in the much-awaited India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 match on Saturday (September 2) in Sri Lanka's Kandy. Rohit Sharma-led India will be playing their first match in Asia Cup 2023 when they take on arch-rivals Pakistan, today. On the other hand, Babar Azam & Co. will be heading to this match after a convincing 238-run win over debutant Nepal in the inaugural match of the tournament.

Meanwhile, former Pakistan player Wasim Akram, one of the most respected voices in international cricket, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a big update regarding the weather in Kandy for fans. He posted a video from his hotel room, describing the weather ahead of IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2023 match in Kandy.

"Many people are asking me about the weather in Kandy. Where I'm staying, there's a drizzle with cloud cover. But you can see that the weather is clearing. The ground is one hour away from here. Maybe, the weather is different there," Akram said in the video.

"All the best to both teams. And remember, it's just a match. Someone will win and someone will lose. Enjoy good cricket," he added.
