IND vs PAK, Weather Update: Fewer Chances Of Rain, Toss Likely To Take Place On Time

One of the local fans at Pallekele also stated that the weather is clear and he cannot wait to watch India win.

There is positive news coming in from Kandy just ahead of the high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan in Asia Cup 2023. Fans who have been waiting to witness this thrilling encounter would be happy to know that there are fewer chances of rain on Saturday. As per weather.com, the weather is likely to be cloudy but there is no sign of rain. Sky will be covered with 64 percent of clouds and only a 15-19 percent forecast predicted a drizzle. The toss is likely to take place on time at 2:30 p.m. IST.

One of the local fans at Pallekele also stated that the weather is clear and he cannot wait to watch India win.

"Weather is very good, weather is clear and there is 99% chance of India winning the game. We hope to see the match," news agency ANI quoted a local resident.

On the eve of the India vs Pakistan match in Asia Cup 2023, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma spoke to the press where he blatantly accepted that he was playing high-risk cricket.

"I have played a lot of cricket so it's important to use that experience. Will do what the team requires from me. In the past two years, I have played a different brand of cricket - it was a high-risk cricket when it comes to batting. I need to bring the right balance to my game - when it comes to taking risks," Rohit said in a pre-match press conference.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam on the other hand spoke about the camaraderie with Virat Kohli.

"The debate that has been going on should be left to them. I don't want to comment on it. Everybody has their point of view. There should be mutual respect. I have been taught that we should respect our seniors. I have learned a lot from him. I have said in a lot of interviews that in 2019 I talked to him and he helped me a lot. He has been helpful," Babar said in the pre-match conference.
