WATCH: Sudarsan Pattnaik Creates Sand Art To Congratulate Indian Team For Their Win Against Pakistan In Asia Cup

International artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created sand art at Puri Bech in Odisha to congratulate the Blue team for their win against Pakistan in the Asia Cup.

Following India's victory against Pakistan by the highest margin in the Asia Cup Super Four fixture at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, award-winning international sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik on Tuesday presented one of his art dedicated to the Blue team's win. The Padma Shri recipient created the said sand art at Puri Beach in Odisha. While talking to the news agency PTI about his art, he said, "As India outshined Pakistan with a big win in the Asia Cup match on Monday, we have extended our congratulations through sand art. We have installed a 13-foot-long cricket bat here (at Puri Beach)."

He also congratulated the team India in a tweet and wrote, "Congratulations Team Bharat for excellent winning Bharat Vs Pakistan on Asia Cup. My 13-foot-long cricket bat on sand art  with the message 'Jai Ho', at Puri Beach in Odisha."

In the match that was played across Sunday and Monday, each of India's top four batters scored at least a half-century. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill scored half-centuries in the match, they were followed by KL Rahul and Virat Kohli who took it up a notch and slammed unbeaten hundreds to help India post 356/2.

Indian bowler Kuldeep Yadav took 5 for 25 runs, he restricted Pakistan to 128/8. As for the remaining two wickets, neither Naseem Shah nor Haris Rauf came out to bat due to injury concerns. 

Earlier, Sand Artist Pattnaik created a 150-foot-long and 50-foot-wide G20 logo at Puri Beach to commemorate the G20 Summit that was held in the national capital.

Pattnaik created the G20 logo with the help of his students at the beach. Also, Pattnaik had created a sculpture at Puri Beach and dedicated it to Lord Krishna and India's achievements on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami.
