The West Indies have suffered a major setback before the five-match ODI and three-match T20 series against India. Windies explosive opener Evin Lewis has withdrawn his name from ODI and T20 series. Lewis has decided not to play due to some personal reasons. His record against India has been fantastic.

While Powell has replaced Lewis in ODIs, fast bowler Obed McCoy will join the squad as well.
