India will take on West Indies in the 2nd ODI of the ongoing three-match series at the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad on Sunday. After the first game got washed out due to rain, both the teams would be eyeing their maiden win of the series. The 2nd ODI would be landmark game for West Indies seasoned campaigner Chris Gayle as he would be featuring in his 300th One Day International,  when he takes to the field against India at the Queen's Park Oval  later in the evening. Chris Gayle, who is hailed as one of West Indies greatest limited over batsman, will become the first West Indies cricketer to play 300 ODIs. Gayle already is the most capped ODI player for his nation, turning out 296 times for the Maroon Brigade in the shorter format of the game. The belligerent Jamaican Opener eclipsed the record of West Indian great Brian Lara who played 295 matches for West Indies. Gayle is also on the cusp of breaking Brian Lara's record for the most runs by a West Indies batsman in ODI cricket. 39-year-old Gayle who made his ODI debut in 1999, needs just 7 runs to go past Lara's mark of 10,405 runs. Gayle is also the only West Indian with a double hundred in ODIs. He had scored a double century in the 2015 World Cup against Zimbabwe.
