Background

IND vs SL T20 Highlights: Hello and welcome to ABP Live's coverage of Sri Lanka Vs India, the Asia Cup 2022 Super 4 match being played at Dubai Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. Rohit Sharma-led Indian side has seen a mixture of all things in this Asia Cup T20 tournament.

The Indian side defeated arch-rivals Pakistan, showed a variation of attack by bowlers, batsmen came out blazing (be it nerves of Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav's ballistic innings against Hong Kong or Virat Kohli's consistent run-scoring ability) and yet the team has also lost a match to Green Shirts.

While the journey to Super Four from Group Stage has been an easy one, the advanced stage, Super Four, of the Asia Cup has put Men In Blue back on the ropes, after a defeat against Pakistan in another nail-biter match.

India is in the 3rd spot on the points table, while Sri Lanka is heading the table with a win against Afghanistan in the first match of Super 4. Today's contest will be crucial for India to get back to the top of the points table ranking and pave the way to Asia Cup 2022 finals.

Sri Lanka will aim to carry the momentum gained after winning against Afghanistan in their first Super Four clash.

Islanders have produced some surprising results over the last few months and a win against a world-class Indian team will be on their bucket list as a team.
