Ind vs SA, 2nd Test Live: Start Of Day 4 Delayed Due To Rain In Johannesburg Test

Background

IND Vs SA: Day 4 of the Johannesburg Test match and there are only two results possible, practically. The home team needs only 122 runs to win with 8 wickets in hand. Dean Elgar and van der Dussen are at the crease for South Africa. Both the batsmen looked comfortable at the crease towards the end of Day 3.

India, on the other hand, has no other option, but to be positive in its approach. Cheteshwar Pujara, on Wednesday said, "It's been challenging and we have runs on the board, so it is very balanced. Although we didn't take too many wickets, we are confident that the pitch will deteriorate tomorrow."

Ravichandran Ashwin was getting the ball to turn yesterday, if the veteran spinner pitches it in the right areas, India might have a chance with this game. Having said that, Indian pacers - Thakur, Bumrah, Shami & Siraj - will hold the key.

Dean Elgar, the South African captain is at the crease and he is battling his way out in the middle. Elgar was just four runs short of his half-century.

The weather in Johannesburg is not on the brighter side today. Looks like we are in for a delayed start on Day 4.
