India skipper Rohit Sharma has made a solid start to his Champions Trophy 2025 campaign, scoring 41 runs off 36 balls in India's opening match against Bangladesh.

As Rohit prepares for the high-stakes India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy clash on Sunday (February 23), he has an opportunity to break a major record held by 'Master Blaster' Sachin Tendulkar.

Sachin Tendulkar currently holds the record for the most sixes by an Indian in ODIs against Pakistan, with 29 sixes in 67 innings. Rohit Sharma is just behind him with 26 sixes in only 19 matches. With four more sixes, he will surpass Tendulkar and set a new milestone.

Also, Rohit is the second-highest six-hitter in ODI history, with 338 sixes in 269 matches. He trails only Pakistan's Shahid Afridi, who holds the top spot with 351 sixes in 398 ODIs.
