Shubman Gill Smashes 4th ODI Century, Matches Babar Azam's World Record During Ind Vs NZ 3rd ODI At Indore
In the ongoing series against New Zealand, the Punjab-based batter amassed 360 runs in the three-match series
India's talented young batter Shubman Gill scored yet another century in the third and final ODI between India and New Zealand at Indore. Gill got his fourth One Day International century and equalled Babar Azam's world record. Gill scored 112 off 78 balls and matched Babar's record of getting the most runs in a three-match bilateral ODI series. In the ongoing series against New Zealand, the Punjab-based batter amassed 360 runs in the three-match series. Pakistan's Babar made the world record when he smashed 360 runs against the West Indies in 2016.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma also equalled former Australia captain Ricky Ponting's tally of ODI hundreds. Notably, both Rohit and Ponting now have 30 centuries in the 50-over format. While Ponting finished with that many hundreds after his 375-match career, the Indian opener now has 30 in 241 matches.
Talking about the match, Rohit and Gill made the highest opening partnership against New Zealand at Indore. Rohit and Gill built an impressive 212-run stand in 26 overs against the Kiwis.
