India vs New Zealand 1st Test: After a decent performance with the bat, Indian bowlers struggled to pick up a single wicket on Day 2 of the Kanpur Test. 

After Tim Southee starred with the ball with a remarkable five-wicket haul to get hosts all out for 345, Kiwi openers Will Young (75*) and Tom Latham (50*) scored an unbeaten 129-run stand to power New Zealand to 129/0 at Stumps of day 2 of Ind vs NZ 1st Test at Kanpur's Green Park Stadium on Friday. 

There is an update in the Indian team on Day 3 as Wriddhiman Saha has been replaced by KS Bharat due to injury.

UPDATE - Wriddhiman Saha has stiffness in his neck. The BCCI medical team is treating him and monitoring his progress. KS Bharat will be keeping wickets in his absence.#INDvNZ @Paytm

For the first time since 2017 on Indian soil against India, a team has made a century-opening partnership. Earlier, England's Alastair Cook and Keaton Jennings had scored a century opening partnership against India on their home soil.
