IND vs ENG Manchester Test: Predicted Playing 11 For Both Teams – Big Changes Expected

Shubman Gill and company will be desperate to win IND vs ENG 4th Test at all costs to level the series. Let’s take a look at the possible playing XIs both teams might go with in this crucial Test.

India playing XI for IND vs ENG Manchester Test: India and England will play the fourth Test match at Old Trafford in Manchester from 23 July to 27 July.

Team India is currently trailing 2-1 in the five-match Test series. In such a situation, this is the last chance for the Indian team to keep the series alive.

Shubman Gill and company will be desperate to win this match at all costs to level the series. Let’s take a look at the possible playing XIs both teams might go with in this crucial Test.

Jasprit Bumrah may be out of the playing eleven

There is a strong possibility of changes in Team India's playing XI against England. Due to workload management, Jasprit Bumrah may be rested for the Manchester Test.

It will be interesting to see who replaces him if he is left out. Arshdeep could have come in his place but he has reportedly sustained an injury and Prasidh Krishna might be called in if Bumrah is unavailable.

On the other hand, Karun Nair has failed to make an impact at number three so far, but he is still likely to retain his place in the XI. Now, all eyes will be on what combination Team India fields in this must-win encounter.

There are predictions that Kuldeep Yadav might come in for Washington Sundar but this might not happen as Sundar is a way better batter than the wrist-spinner. To have depth in batting, Indian management might chose to retain Sundar in playing XI.

Changes are also certain in England's playing 11

England’s playing XI is also likely to see some changes in the fourth Test against India. The team may go for two changes in their bowling department. With spinner Shoaib Bashir ruled out due to injury, Liam Dawson is expected to come in. At the same time, Gus Atkinson might get a chance in place of fast bowler Brydon Carse, who has been inconsistent.

India’s Probable Playing XI: Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Karun Nair, Shubman Gill (capt), Rishabh Pant (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar, Jasprit Bumrah / Prasidh Krishna, Akash Deep, Mohammad Siraj.

England’s Probable Playing XI: Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Ben Stokes (capt), Jamie Smith (wk), Chris Woakes, Brydon Carse / Gus Atkinson, Jofra Archer, Liam Dawson.
