Ind Vs Aus: Team India To Wear 1992 World Cup Jersey For Limited Over Series In Australia

The kit is navy blue in color and has colorful stripes on the shoulder and bears the names of Team India’s new main sponsors, Byju’s, and MPL kit sponsors. It is also worth mentioning, the Australian cricket team started the trend of wearing retro jerseys during the last India tour in 2018-19. At that time, Australia wore its 1985 World Series jersey. Meanwhile, Australia and New Zealand wore their 1999 World Cup uniforms during a tournament earlier this year. India and Australia are set to face three ODIs, three T20s, and four tests in the upcoming series. While the first two ODIs will be played in Adelaide the last one will be played in Canberra. India in the last ODI series with Australia beat the country by 2-1. The upcoming ODI series marks India’s first limited date in nearly 9 months. India played the last ODI tournament against New Zealand in February earlier this year. Their matches against South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe had to be called off due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
