IND v ENG: India injury woe continues; Pandya ruled out of England series
New Delhi: Injury woe for team India continues as youngster Hardik Pandya has been ruled out for the remainder of the series after he suffered injury to his right shoulder during the practice session.
Pandya becomes the second player to get injured in the nets. Earlier, KL Rahul was ruled out of the Mohali Test after hurting his left forearm.
The Baroda man was included in 16-member squad for the England series but he is yet to make his Test debut. Pandya has been told to consult a specialist and the board is yet to make any replacements.
Pandya was included in the Test squad following his impressive display in One day international cricket and provided all-round option to captain Virat Kohli.
Wriddhiman Saha was another player to be sidelined due to injury, keeping the 32-year-old away from action in Mohali Test.
