Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team currently lead the ODI series 1-0 as the first ODI was washed out after 13 overs of play in Guyana. The Men-in-Blue will be looking to clinch the three-match ODI series 3-0 by winning the third and final ODI match against Windies at the Queen's Park Oval on Wednesday.
India lethal paceman Jasprit Bumrah was rested for the ODI and T20I series against the West Indies but has been named in the number one-ranked Test team India. Bumrah has bagged 49 Test wickets so far in 10 matches with an impressive economy of 2.66 runs per over.
The 25-year-old will join the Indian Test squad for a two-match Test series, starting August 22.
The fast bowler "couldn't miss out on celebrating" Raksha Bandhan two days earlier with his sister Juhika. "Team India duties means I won't be here for Raksha Bandhan but I just couldn't miss out on celebrating with you, Juhika. Thank you for always being there for me," Jasprit Bumrah wrote on Twitter.
After a convincing show in the second ODI, Virat Kohli and boys will look to seal the deal in the final ODI. The last game of the series will decide if India will lift the ODI trophy as well after a clinical show in the T20I series. Interestingly, this could be the last time that the legendary Chris Gayle takes the field and the West Indies outfit would look to give him a grand send-off.
