India vs West Indies, Women's T20 World Cup HIGHLIGHTS: India Beat West Indies By 6 Wickets To Register Second Win On The Trot

Background

It's been a great start to the Women's T20 World Cup for Team India. Even though Pakistan had posted their highest score against India in a T20 International after opting to bat first, the Women in Blue were up to the task and registered their highest successful chase in  T20 World Cup, easing to a 7-wicket win with one over remaining.

Harmanpreet Kaur & Co., who did lose early wickets in what was a high-pressure game against arch-rivals, got to their target with the help of a superb half-century from Jemimah Rodrigues (53*) which was brilliant supported by Richa Ghosh (31*).

India are now gearing up for their second Group B fixture in which they will be up against West Indies. It hasn't been a positive start for the Windies side who experienced a 7-wicket loss to England in their opening match. India would be pretty confident of their chances against this opposition as they not only have a better head-to-head record against this team but they side will further be strengthened by the return of vice-captain Smriti Mandhana who missed out the Pakistan game due to an injury.

The match will be played at the same venue where India took on Pakistan- the Newlands in Cape Town and a win here could take them to the top of Group B where England are currently sitting comfortably with 2 out of 2 wins and a net run rate of +2.497.
