'I Feel Rohit Sharma Is A Far Better Batsman Than Virat Kohli': Pakistan Speedster's Huge Remark

Rohit Sharma’s men will be playing against Pat Cummins-led Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, set to begin from February 9th.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are the two greats of modern-day cricket that India have ever produced. Many cricket experts have been debating for a long as to who is the better batter and the debate continues. However, Pakistan speedster Sohail Khan has given his verdict on the same. Speaking on the ‘Nadir Ali Podcast’ show on YouTube channel, “I respect Kohli because he is very big batsman. But as bowler, I feel Rohit Sharma is a far better batsman than him. His technique is superb. He plays the ball very late, like he has all the time in the world,” he said.

“He has dominated world cricket in the last 10-12 years,” Sohail said after being pointed out on Rohit’s bad form in white-ball cricket.

“Kohli scores runs based on his fitness. If he scores one run, he is immediately ready for the next. Rohit doesn't do that. He scores one run and doesn't even try for the next. Rohit scores with his bat. Kohli scores with his bat and by running between the wickets. Again, that is a good thing because when you are that fit, you reflects automatically,” he said.

Rohit Sharma’s men will be playing against Pat Cummins-led Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, set to begin from February 9th.
