Gambhir in ugly verbal duel with Delhi coach after Vijay Hazare debacle

New Delhi: Gautam Gambhir was involved in a ferocious verbal duel with coach KP Bhaskar after Delhi’s campaign in Vijay Hazare Tophy came to end on Monday. 

The incident took place in the dressing room after end of Delhi’s last Group B match in the Vijay Hazare trophy against Uttar Pradesh. 

According to sources, Gambhir launched an abusive tirade against Bhaskar and blamed him for Delhi miseries. 

Gambhir was sacked as skipper recently while KP Bhaskar was appointed Delhi coach this season.  Rishabh Pant was given the charge of the team.

Delhi had failed to qualify for Ranji knockouts and also failed to qualify in the one dayers. 

This is not the first Gambhir has been involved in an on-field spat. He had a series of verbal duels on the field, including the Australian and Pakistan players and most notoriously against Virat Kohli. Last year he was involved inan argument with Manoj tiwary, the Bengal skipper.
