‘Excitement Building Up’ For WTC Final, Watch How Cricketers Travelled From One Bio-Bubble To Another

Southampton: Indian cricket team landed in London on Thursday. From London, the entire team took a two-hour-long bus ride to reach Ageas Bowl in Southampton. The Ageas Bowl has a hotel inside the stadium where the men's and women's Indian team would be in quarantine. 

 Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) has shared a video of the players traveling from Mumbi to England with their families. The women's team will be playing a Test series against England women. Here is the full video: 

The team has to go through a rigorous quarantine period of three days and after that, they could resume their practice sessions, etc. Indian spinner, Axar Patel said that before practicing at the Ageas Bowl for the WTC final, team India will have to undergo strict three-day isolation, in which players will not be allowed to meet each other. The Indian team was in isolation in Mumbai for 14 days before leaving for UK and is currently in the second isolation for a short time.

India's men's and women's teams left for England on a chartered flight. After reaching London, the Indian team reached Southampton after traveling two hours by bus. India have to play a five-Test series against England after playing the final of the World Test Championship.  The women's team has to play one Test, three ODIs, and three T20 Internationals against England.

The World Test Championship will determine a Test Champion for the first time in cricket's history. Indian team begins a long period of them staying in England.
