Australia beat England by 43 runs to win Lord's Test
Australia scored 416 runs in their first innings of ENG vs AUS 2nd Test at Lord's. After this, England were reduced to just 325 runs in their first innings. However, the hosts made a great comeback and restricted Australia to 279 runs. In this way, England got a target of 371 runs in their second innings for the win. On day 5, England got all out after scoring 327 runs as Australia won ENG vs AUS Ashes 2023 2nd Test by 43 runs, taking a 2-0 lead in the five-match 2023 Ashes Test series.
In the first innings for Australia, Steve Smith scored 110, Travis Head scored 77 and David Warner scored 66 runs. In the first innings for England, Ben Duckett scored 98 and Harry Brook scored 50 runs. Usman Khawaja scored the highest 77 runs for Australia in the second innings.
