ENG vs AUS, 4th Ashes Test: ICC Mocks David Warner After Getting Out on A Duck
On the opening day of the Manchester Test (on Wednesday) Warner lost his wicket to Stuart Broad for the fifth time in this series
Australia opener David Warner has been struggling with his poor form in the ongoing Ashes series. He may have enjoyed a purple patch earlier but failing to find the sweet spot on the English soil.
On the opening day of the Manchester Test (on Wednesday) Warner lost his wicket to Stuart Broad for the fifth time in this series. He fell for a duck after facing a couple of deliveries and became a butt of jokes on social media.
Here’s what happened!
Before the start of Australia's first innings, Cricket Australia (CA) had tweeted, “David Warner resumes his battle with Stuart Broad... #Ashes”.
However, as soon as the opener was dismissed for a duck in the very first over of the Manchester Test, ICC retweeted CA's tweet saying, “This aged well #Ashes”.David Warner resumes his battle with Stuart Broad... #Ashes pic.twitter.com/tSvYw1hU5q

In the ongoing series, Warner has managed to get just 78 runs from seven innings which include two consecutive ducks. It is also Warner's first appearance in the longest format of the game for Australia after the infamous ball-tampering scandal in South Africa last year. Warner has featured in 78 Tests for Australia, where he has 6442 runs at an average of 46.68.This aged well 😬#Ashes https://t.co/xgKGrTXCvO
