New Delhi: Dinesh Karthik fired yet another hundred to help Tamil Nadu beat India ‘B’ by 42 runs in the final of Deodhar Trophy in Visakhapatnam.

Karthik smashed a brilliant hundred off just 79 deliveries which included 14 fours and 3 sixes. The Gujarat Lions star stitched 136-run stand for the fourth wicket N Jagadeesan to set India ‘B’ a target of 304 runs. Jagadeesan on the other hand played a supportive role and hit second fifty of the tournament.

Chasing 304 runs, India ‘B’ lost their Parthiv Patel cheaply. However, Shikhar Dhawan and Manish Pandey gave India ‘B’ some hope with 64-run stand between the wickets but ultimately Dhawan lost his wicket to Rahil.

Meanwhile, Dinesh Karthik who is eyeing nation comeback had also smashed a fabulous hundred against Bengal to help his side clinch the prestigious Vijay Hazare Trophy
