Cricketer Unmukt Chand Appeals For Remedesivir Vials For Covid Infected Mother, Receives Help From Gautam Gambhir, Congress
Unmukt Chand had posted an appeal on Twitter for Remedesevir vials after his mother was tested COVID-19 positive.
New Delhi: Corona Virus has lately proven to be deadly. India registered 2,33,728 new COVID-19 cases on April 16. 1338 deaths were recorded across the country. Cricketer Unmukt Chand’s mother has also detected covid-19 positive. He posted on Twitter about it and made an appeal to provide Remedesivir vials for his mother.
He posted a picture of a prescription from the Bhagwati Hospital dated 15/04/2021. Along with the picture, he wrote: ‘Immediately require Remdesevir vials for my mother and uncle who are suffering from Covid 19. Kindly send leads ASAP’

Later he also replied on the same tweet saying that he received timely help from Gautam Gambhir and thanked him for the same. “Thank you @GautamGambhir bhai for the timely help. Means a lot.”
On the same post, Srinivas BV of Youth Congress also posted about the help that they managed to arrange for the mother of cricketer Unmukt Chand. “For emergency use, we managed to arrange life-saving medicines for our young cricketer

Unmukt Chand is currently living in New Delhi and is not part of the IPL 2021. He played his last IPL in 2016. But he is an integral part of Delhi’s Ranji Trophy squad.
