West Indies opener Chris Gayle who has a habit of breaking batting records every now and then eclipsed another milestone when he became the leading six hitter in the history of World Cup on Wednesday.

Chris Gayle holds multiple records in World Cup cricket. The belligerent Jamaican has tonked the maximum number of sixes in a single edition of the tournament. He also is one of the three batsman in World Cup history to hit a double ton.
