After a disappointing loss in the first Test in Adelaide last week, West Indies staged a remarkable comeback in the second Test. Overcoming a batting collapse, they posted an inspirational total of 311 runs in the first innings, while the bowling unit effectively restricted the hosts to 289, prompting Australia to declare their innings.

Despite facing challenging conditions, West Indies managed to score 193 runs in the second innings before being all out, setting a target of 216 for the hosts. Shamar Joseph's outstanding spell (7/68) on Sunday, despite battling injury issues, played a crucial role in guiding his team to a memorable Test victory.
