Bangladesh Vs Zimbabwe: CSK Star Rescues Bangladesh In Side's Nail-Biting Win In 4th T20I

Bangladesh Vs Zimbabwe: CSK star bowler came to the rescue for Bangladesh, as they clinch the 4th T20I by 5 runs. Here are the details.

Bangladesh Vs Zimbabwe: Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by 5 runs in a nail-biting 4th T20I between the sides, as the topsy-turvy match for either of the sides produced a masterpiece in bowling and howler in batting. With the win, the Bangla Tigers are now 4-0 up in the series and are on the verge of completing a wonderful 5-0 whitewash of Zimbabwe, who are looking completely out of sorts this entire series.

Najmul Hossain Shanto pointed out his side's failure to capitalise on the platform set by the openers and acknowledged the role of seniors in the side.

"It was disappointing but the way how Tamim and Soumya batted was really good. Hopefully we can comeback better with the bat in the next game. We all knew that the wicket was a bit tricky and Zimbabwe bowled really well in the middle overs. Throughout the series, every bowler has bowled really well and Shakib coming back was really crucial for us. We expect a lot from the senior guys and hopefully they can continue the form," said the Bangladesh skipper.

A dejected Sikander Raza was evidently not pleased with the side's batting performance and more than that, accepted that his own personal failures are costing the side.

"Yes, again. I think we keep coming closer and closer. The youngsters are putting their hands up and proud of them. We are dropping catches and then Shanto fielded well in the end. I am not scoring runs and that's not helping us. Yes, great comeback by the bowlers. They were 100/0 and the way we came back was exemplary. The bowlers showed great heart and then the batters let us down including me," said the Zimbabwe skipper

"Yes, we can have small partnerships and continuous but we are a young side and we will only learn from mistakes. I am so happy that they are getting exposure. I think my runs are important and I am letting the team down," he added.

Mustafizur Rahman was awarded the Man of the Match awaerd for his match-changing bowling spell and said the following:

"Yes really grateful if the team wins because of my performance, I am more than happy. The wicket was a bit slow and it suited my skills. I really love to play for my country and want to give my best whenever I step onto the field."
