Ahead of world cup, this cricketer suspended from bowling in international cricket

The cricketer still has the right to appeal for an assessment of her bowling action at an ICC approved Testing Center.

The Netherlands women’s cricket team has received a huge blow in the ongoing ICC Women’s World T20 Qualifier 2018. Right-arm medium pacer Robine Rijke has been suspended from bowling in international cricket with immediate effect after her bowling action was found ‘illegal’.

The Event Panel of the ongoing tournament confirmed the development. Earlier on Saturday, the match officials reported Rijke’s actions after the game against United Arab Emirates, which the Netherlands lost by six wickets on Saturday.
