After India-Pakistan match, Mallya attends Virat Kohli's charity dinner

New Delhi: Absconding Indian business Vijay Mallya’s presence during high-voltage encounter between India and Pakistan at Edgbaston on Sunday took the Indian media by storm.
Mallya was seen supporting for the Virat Kohli led side from the VIP section and was later spotted with legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar, the picture of both involved in a conversation went viral on social media on Monday.
The 61-year-old took to his Twitter account to reveal the reason behind his presence during the classic clash between India and Pakistan and he further went on to reveal that will be cheering for India in all the upcoming matches in the ICC Champions Trophy.

Mallya, Former owner of IPL franchise – Royal Challengers Bangalore, was one of the attendees of the Virat Kohli’s Charity Ball in London to raise funds for justice and care organistaion – an entity which works towards fighting human trafficking.
Mallya, who is currently in the United Kingdom, was declared "absconder" by a Mumbai court after he fled from the country in March last year
Unpaid loans of over Rs 9,000 crore by his now defunct Kingfisher airlines made him flee to the UK on March 2 last year. He has been defying court orders even as as the Supreme Court ordered him to appear before it in person with his passport on March 30, 2016.
