On Sunday, March 17, Afghanistan's captain Rashid Khan delivered a stunning no-look six during his impactful innings that led to a victory against Ireland in a T20I held in Sharjah.

Afghanistan defeated Ireland in the 2nd AFG vs IRE T20I by 10 runs at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah on March 17 (Sunday). Afghanistan's captain, Rashid Khan, played a vital role for his team, making noteworthy contributions with both bat and ball. He displayed his skill in power-hitting, with a remarkable no-look six he struck during their 10-run victory, which rapidly gained attention on social media.

The 25-year-old cricketer played an extraordinary shot on the last delivery of the 18th over, causing a sensation on social media. Ireland pacer Barry McCarthy bowled a low full toss at the stumps and Rashid effortlessly struck it for a six over the deep backward square leg boundary using a no-look shot.

Rashid Khan's All-Round Heroics Win The Game For Afghanistan

Rashid, having won the toss for Afghanistan, opted to bat first. Despite coming in at No. 9, he captured fans' attention with a remarkable cameo, smashing 25 runs off a mere 12 balls. 

Rashid Khan's explosive innings propelled Afghanistan to a total of 152/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Additionally, he showcased his vintage bowling prowess by claiming four wickets while conceding just 14 runs from his complete quota of four overs. Afghanistan emerged victorious in the match, winning by 10 runs and levelling the three-match series 1-1.

It is noteworthy that Rashid Khan made his comeback to competitive cricket through the ongoing series after being sidelined since the 2023 ODI World Cup. The talented leg-spinner underwent back surgery following the conclusion of the showpiece event to address a long-standing injury concern. 

Rashid Khan's fans, as well as the Gujarat Titans, will undoubtedly be delighted to witness the star bowler's return to action, especially in light of the upcoming IPL 2024 season.
