When Is Ram Darbar Pran Pratishtha In Ayodhya In 2025?

Once again, the sacred land of Ayodhya will echo with the chants of "Jai Shri Ram." On the auspicious occasion of Ganga Dussehra, June 5, 2025, the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Darbar will be performed during the Abhijit Muhurat.

The main ceremony will take place between 11:25 AM and 11:40 AM, preceded by 2.5 hours of puja rituals in the early morning.

Pran Pratishtha To Take Place During A Rare Celestial Alignment

According to Hindu tradition, the Dwapar Yug—one of the four cosmic eras—began on the tenth day of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Jyeshtha, which is also celebrated as Ganga Dussehra. This year, Ganga Dussehra falls on June 5. It is also the sacred day when Goddess Ganga is believed to have descended to Earth. The Pran Pratishtha of Ram Darbar at the Ram Temple on this very date stands as a profound symbol of Sanatan Dharma’s deep-rooted traditions and unwavering devotion.

Ram Darbar Pran Pratishtha 2025 Schedule

  • 31 May, 2025: Pran Pratishtha of Shivling at Shiva Temple.
  • 2 June, 2025: The Pran Pratishtha rituals will begin with a Kalash Yatra.
  • 3 June, 2025: Puja of Yagna Mandap will take place. Vedic rituals including Panchang Puja, Yagna Mandap Puja, invocation of deities, Graha Yagna, Agni Sthapana, Havan, and the start of Jaladhivas of idols will be performed.
  • 4 June, 2025: Various processions and palanquin yatras will be held.
  • 5 June, 2025: On the first floor of the Ram Temple, Pran Pratishtha of Ram Darbar, along with the idols in the Sheshavatar Mandir, Lakshman, and the seven deities in the temples outside Parkota, will be performed.
