Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday intensified his criticism of Israel's refusal to sanction Russia, during an address by the Jewish leader to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Naftali Bennett has refrained from criticising Russia's invasion and stressed Israel's close ties with Moscow and Kyiv while his administration has not imposed sanctions on Russian President Vladimir Putin's government.

Ms Suu Kyi has already been sentenced to 11 years in jail and denies a host of charges which have been widely condemned as politically-motivated.

The leaders of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa will discuss the status of diverse political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the five countries and their prospects.

In the Maharashtra Political Crisis, Shiv Sena Ready To Walk Out Of MVA Govt If Rebels Return In 24 Hrs, Says Raut. The party has once again appealed to the rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde and his supporting MLAs sitting in Guwahati, to return to Mumbai. Speaking to the media on Thursday, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said that the MLAs who are outside Maharashtra should return to Mumbai within 24 hours. "We are ready to walk out of MVA (Maha Vikas Aghadi) government in Maharashtra, but party rebels should return to Mumbai (from Guwahati) in 24 hours," Sanjay Raut, who is Shiv Sena's chief spokesperson, said.

Noted Bengali director Tarun Majumdar was admitted to a hospital in Kolkata on Tuesday after he complained of uneasiness, officials said. Majumdar, 92, has kidney-related ailments and was admitted to the state-run SSKM Hospital, they said.
