India celebrates 22nd Kargil Vijay Diwas today as the nation salutes the victory of Indian Army against intruders from Pakistan in an operation called "Operation Vijay" on 26 July, 1999. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit the Vijay Diwas path in Dras, Kargil, Ladakh to commemorate the martyrs of the war.
