At least four people died in a massive landslide in Nijarapar in Boragaon area. With this, the total number of persons who have died due to floods and landslides this year has gone up to 42. Landslides have been reported from half a dozen places in the city, including Kamakhya, Kharghuli, Hengerabari, Silpukhuri and Chandmari Colony. (Source: PTI)

National and state disaster response forces along with the volunteers have reached out to the flood-affected people.
