England captain Eoin Morgan today attained a very special record in T20 cricket when he came out to lead his side in IND vs ENG 3rd T20I on Tuesday at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium. Pakistan's Shoaib Malik has played the most 116 T20 matches. India's Rohit Sharma is second in this list with 108 T20 matches and New Zealand's Ross Taylor has secured third spot in this list after playing 102 matches. (Pic Courtesy: PTI) 

Apart from Morgan, England's Jos Buttler has played 76 T20 matches, Alex Hales (60), Chris Jordan (57) and Stuart Broad (56 T20 matches). Broad, however, has not played a single T20 match since 2014. (Pic Courtesy: PTI) 

Talking of playing the most T20 matches as a captain, former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni tops this list.The World Cup winner has captained India in 72 T20I matches and won 41 of them.
