Shubman Gill has achieved the No. 1 ranking in ODI batting, becoming the fourth Indian player to do so, following Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli. He overtook Pakistan's Babar Azam, who had held the top spot for over two years.
