In the ongoing fifth and final Ashes Test at The Oval, Stokes hit three fours and a six during his 42 runs off 67 balls innings.

With this, Ben Stokes hit 15 sixes in the Ashes 2023 series, making the record of smashing maximum sixes in a single Ashes series.

Former England skipper Kevin Pietersen previously held this record. He had hit 14 sixes in the 2005 Ashes Test series.

Stokes also has the second-highest number of sixes in a Test series. He is behind Rohit Sharma (19 sixes) in this list.

In the ongoing Ashes Test series, Stokes has so far scored 405 runs in five innings at an average of 45.00, laced up with a ton and two half-centuries.

Ben Stokes is the third-highest run-scorer in the series next to Usman Khawaja (424 runs) and Zak Crawley (480 runs).
