Quad Summit In Pics: Modi Meets Biden, Albanese & Kishida, Grouping Pledges Battle Against Cancer In Indo-Pacific

On the sidelines of Quad, PM Modi held an 'extremely fruitful' meeting with US President Biden, where the two discussed ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The Quad leaders discussed ties with each other, the leaders announced various initiatives to address the development priorities of the Indo-Pacific region and the global community as a whole.

PM Modi emphasised that the Quad is not aimed at any particular country, but is committed to promoting rules-based international order and respect for sovereignty. In a veiled reference to China, PM Modi, in his opening statements at the Summit, said the Quad’s priority is a 'free, open, inclusive and prosperous Indo-Pacific'. (Photo: PIB)
