An earthquake that rocked Indonesia's main island of Java on Monday killed at least 162 people, destroyed over 2,200 buildings, and displaced over 5,300 people, as per reports.

The Indonesian meteorology service cautioned inhabitants around the quake to be on the lookout for further earthquakes. Because of its location on the Pacific "Ring of Fire," where tectonic plates intersect, Indonesia sees frequent seismic and volcanic activity.
