The building took around five years to complete in 1927 and the foundation stone of the Parliament House was laid on February 12, 1921, by Britain's Duke of Connaught Prince Arthur. He said that the House would stand "as the symbol of India's rebirth to yet higher destinies". (Image Source-Getty)
