The Amarnath Yatra was halted temporarily by officials due to bad weather along the Baltal and the Pahalgam routes on Friday. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Mountaineering Rescue Team (MRT) personnel were seen giving supplemental oxygen to an Amarnath Yatra pilgrim during his trek in Anantnag district. (Source: PTI)

Many pilgrims were seen on their way to the holy cave shrine of Amarnath in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. However, currently, the Yatra has been suspended and no pilgrim is being allowed to move towards the holy cave shrine from Friday morning. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (Ramban) Mohita Sharma, the Yatra has been halted in the Chanderkote district and adjoining areas. (Source: PTI)
