Bengaluru Bandh: Traffic Snarls As Farmers Protest Over Cauvery Row, RAF On Ground Amid Sec 144 — IN PICS

The Karnataka Jala Samrakshana Samithi has issued a bandh call in opposition to the supply of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu. The protests took place even as Section 144 was clamped by the police.

Several farmer outfits and pro-Kannada organisations have called for a 12-hour 'bandh' or shutdown to protest against the decision of the Karnataka government to release Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu.
