Varun's colleagues and friends from the industry wished him on his birthday.

Fimmaker Raj & DK, who are directing him in Citadel, posted a video with caption, "Happy birthday @varundvn Can't wait for everyone to see you kick ass in #Citadel. Wishing you the bestest year and yet anddddd... You are Legendary!!

Varun’s Bawaal co-star Janhvi also wished him in a quirky style. Sharing a series of photos with the actor, Janhvi wished that Varun gets to eat ice-cream on his birthday or else things get ‘weird.’

On the work front, Varun will be seen with Janhvi Kapoor in 'bawaal', he is also doing the Indian version of 'Citadel' and he recently announced 'Bhediya 2.'
