US: Cartoonist gets fired for making fun of Trump

The latest cartoon he shared depicted the current situation of US border with a bloated man holding a child giving the visuals of the new immigration laws.

New Delhi: A popular cartoonist had to lose his job because he dared to target US President Donald Trump. In a surprising incident, the veteran cartoonist- Rob Rogers, got fired by a leading daily for making cartoons on US President Donald Trump. As per reports the cartoonist was a Rob Rodger served the newspaper for more than two decades, but his satirical doodles on Trump caused the termination of his job. He had been working there since 1993. As per reports, for past some time, his work was not being published and lately the employer tried to change the working terms. The latest cartoon he shared depicted the current situation of US border with a bloated man holding a child giving the visuals of the new immigration laws. The picture went viral on social media. This was not the first time that his pictures had pointed out on going president’s agenda, but this was the first time he faced consequences. In past years of his job he had made cartoons on former presidents like Obama, Clinton. This has led to an outrage among the media persons who are accusing the government of crushing voices.
